About Me

I am a crafter trying to learn to find my way and nurture my creativity. I flirt with scrapbooking and cardmaking on a semi-regular basis and long to sink my teeth into mixed-media works and art journaling. I'm hoping to make the transition soon. I'm an avid reader, blog stalker, and pinterest junkie. I collect art and craft magazines by the bundle. I have a passing acquaintance with Twitter and love any opportunity to find new sources of inspiration. I absolutely love all things cupcake and secretly hope to be a master cake baker some day. I also am an animal lover - including the crazy, banshee cat I have living in my home - otherwise known as Tonks or Roo or Rooba and the list goes on. Thanks for stopping by.

For a long time it seemed to me that life was about to begin - real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life. This perspective has helped me to see there is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way. So treasure every moment you have and remember that time waits for no one. Happiness is a journey, not a destination.
