Update...

It's been quiet here on the blog...which usually only means one thing.  There's a storm brewing in my life. The good news is that not all storms are bad...they can be refreshing, renewing, bring nourishment to a vast, dry land or life as it maybe.  With a lot of doctor's appointments, tests, and procedures both ahead and behind me...I've been thinking a lot about my word - nourish - and how I want to move forward.  So I've made a few decisions. First, I'm going to approach my word and year differently.  Although the word nourish has been on my mind every day of this year (2012) - I've decided to make it the word for my birthday year.  I've decided to re-evaluate and make a revamped MUST list for my 35th birthday - 36th year starting at the end of March.  I haven't started most of what I planned on my 2012 list and I'm not completely sure I want to...

Which brings me to the bigger issue...in the next five weeks before my birthday, I will be taking the time to re-evaluate and really think about my goals for the year.  I will also be making a plan for the future of this blog - which could include the decision to stop this little space of mine.  Despite loving it...so much...I'm not "nourishing" it in the way I originally envisioned.  My time has been taken up by a completely different pursuit - Pinterest.  And I'm not sure that's all bad.  I just need to make some decisions, do an annual review, and make plans.  There is one thing that will remain the same - the reading pledge which is plugging along in a somewhat non-organic way.  I find myself looking at the number of pages in books and the size of words wondering if it'll be a hindrance to meeting my goal - which can only mean one thing.  Houston - we have a problem.  This (my pledge) is supposed to be fun and it's time to let go of the number and remember the primary reason I did this - I want to read more.

I must say after writing this post - the idea of not having this space is not very enticing.  I guess I have five weeks to figure it all out.  In the meantime, the blog will be on hold.  Here's hoping you have a nice month.  Until then...
